Leilani: Blessings and how are you?
Angel: Great and Blessed.
Leilani: Please re-introduce yourself and tell our audience what you do?
Angel: Well my name is Angel! I’m a writer, producer, musician and performer.
Leilani: How long have you been in the music business and who have you worked with?
Angel: WOW! Let's just say a long time not to give away my age. I've worked with a lot of Bay Area artist that's coming up. I also had the pleasure to work with Blues Legend (Bobbie “Spider” Webb) last year as well.
Leilani: Who has been some of the influences in your music?
Angel: I have a very long list but just to name a few, Earth Wind and Fire, Tower of Power, James Brown, Queen, Jimi Hendrix and Minnie Riperton.
`` Leilani: Tell us about your project and whats your favorite track and why?
Angel: My project shows so many sides of music flavors. I'm calling it "The Hip Hop Jazz Project" because it has a big mix of different styles of music. My favorite track, that's hard if I had to pick I would say "Brown Skin" because it's a positive song for the sista's! I mean all of them dark, light and red bone. We as a people have to get off that inter-race hate thang we're all beautiful and I love them all!
Leilani: Tell us about some of the folks on your project?
Angel: Some of the artist I've produced in the past, MysteryMan and myself asked them to come get on this project. Here's some guest: Artist LeeTyme, Bre, Vendetta, Bobbie (Spider) Webb and Maxx Jewels.
Leilani: Describe your style of play and genre?
Angel: I would just say good music! But I know you want more, it's a mix of Soul, Jazz, R&B, Gospel, Rock and Hip Hop.
Leilani: Is there anyone you would like to work with and why?
Angel: I wish I could of had the chance to work with the late Amy WineHouse, her style was so cool and different. Someone presently I think I would like to work with coming up that's not out yet, Esperanza Spalding. Janelle Monáe would be really nice because their style isn't the same old thang that you hear everyday.
Leilani: What are you currently working on?
Angel: I'm always working on something if it's not mine it's another artist. But I've team up with another Indie Lable and will be recording their artist in 2012. I also have made a deal to produce and record "Tami Rossell" from King and Queen Ent in 2012 as well.
Leilani: What keeps you grounded? Explain?
Angel: God the father, family and a couple of very close friends.
Leilani: Whats next for you? Angel: I'm feeling a strong pull to do a full Gospel Album since I have a gospel track on this project. I'm already getting request’s for it.
Leilani: Whats been the hardest part about being a indie artist?
Angel: MONEY! So if there's anyone out there that would like to donate, you're welcome to do so!
Leilani: Whats the sweetest thing a fan has said or done for you? Explain
Angel: How my music has made them feel and how some of my other music had their kids dancing around and singing it back over and over again!

Angel: Well I can't leave without doing that first, thank you Leilani for your great support and your on going encouragement. As you know it's been a long and a hard road. The other shout out I would like to give is to my Mother who has been gone since 2006 Mrs. Minnie R. Davis. I've dedicated this project to her. Also my studio/production partners T. Ross the International and Maxx Jewels, my family who has had to deal with the long hours of work away from home. There's many more folks out there that has been part of my support system that I thank as well and to the one that told me to let it flow "The Undercover/Brotha" you know who you are.
